MUSIC

Music forms an integral part of life at Holland House through lessons and assemblies, rehearsals and concerts. We have a dedicated Music Specialist Teacher who runs choirs, a woodwind ensemble and organises events such as Christmas Carols at the Broadwalk Shopping Centre. Each year there are a range of performances starting with the Christmas Show in the Autumn Term, a Spring Concert in the Spring Term and the End of Year assemblies in the Summer Term. Year 6 also do a wonderful End of Year Show which is performed at the Radlett Centre. 

There is a peripatetic Music Teacher who offers tuition, on the following instruments:

Piano, Recorder, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute and Music Theory

DANCE

Dance is part of the Curriculum for all Years. Reception through to Year 3 are taught tap and from Year 4 the pupils are taught modern dance. Tap is also available as part of the after school clubs for Year 1 through to Year 6.

Drama is part of the Curriculum for all pupils. From Reception through to Year 2, the pupils are also taught Speaking and Listening classes.
