ENTRY at 4+
Our main point of entry into the school is our Reception Year and places are awarded based on a 4+ assessment. This is designed to identify pupils who are able to benefit from our academic, balanced and well-rounded education as well as make a positive contribution towards the life of the school. Each child begins full-time education in the academic year in which he/she turns five. Please see above for date and year of entry.
Assessments take place in October, the year before the Reception entry in the September of the Autumn Term. If you would like your child to be assessed, please complete and return the Registration form along with a Registration fee of £100 (please note that this fee is non-returnable and does not guarantee a place for the applicant). All children registered will be invited to an assessment. The assessments usually last one hour and parents will stay at the school whilst their children meet the Reception Teacher and the Headmistress.
After a successful assessment, your child will be invited back with the parent(s) for a short interview with the Headmistress. If successful, your child will be offered a place for the following academic year. By accepting the offer you will be asked to sign and return the Acceptance Form along with a deposit of a term's fee of £3,074.
OTHER YEAR PLACES
Exceptionally, a few places are available within other year groups and prospective parents are welcome to register their interest so that they can be contacted when assessments will be taking place. Please fill out the below Registration form and send it to email@example.com if you would like your child to be placed on a waiting list for one of our Year Groups. Please do state the Year Group at the top of the page.
