Reception had an absolutely fun-packed time at Hertfordshire Zoo. From getting up close and personal with the penguins to eating our sandwiches on a platform, overlooking the tigers, it was a non-stop day, filled with lots of laughs and learning. The children took part in 2 learning sessions, ‘Jurassic Safari’ and ‘Amazing Adaptations’ in which they learnt all about extinct and living animals, completed tasks and then got a tour from zoo staff, taking them all around the zoo animals and dinosaur models.

The children said it was “The best day ever!”
