Our Year 5 and 6 residential trip to Aylmerton, Norfolk, was packed with adventure, learning and fun. Throughout the week, the children took part in team-building games, explored the marshes at Blakeney Point, and searched for fossils at West Runton Beach, where some lucky pupils even discovered belemnites. At Aylmerton Outdoor Centre, they challenged themselves with archery, bushcraft, high ropes and bouldering, while visits to Felbrigg Hall and Cromer provided opportunities to develop their orienteering and map-reading skills.
The excitement continued in the evenings, with bowling and a disco proving to be particular highlights. The children were a credit to the school throughout the trip, demonstrating excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and resilience. We were especially proud that so many members of the public took the time to approach staff and comment on how polite, respectful and impressive our pupils were.
