Year 2 had an unforgettable day at the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour, where they stepped behind the scenes of the iconic film series and immersed themselves in the magic of moviemaking.
The children were thrilled to explore original sets such as the Great Hall and Diagon Alley, see how animatronic creatures are brought to life, and learn about the incredible special effects used throughout the films. They visited two soundstages and a back lot full of magical surprises, with wide eyes and boundless curiosity!
A real highlight of the day was a writing workshop hosted by the studio team, which inspired the children to bring their own stories to life through creative writing.
The trip was not only fun but also deeply enriching, tying directly into our curriculum. Back at school, the experience sparked fantastic follow-up work in literacy and storytelling, allowing the children to reflect on everything they had seen and learned.Even those who had visited the studios before agreed that exploring it with classmates made it a completely new and exciting experience. It was a wonderful day that celebrated creativity, imagination, and shared discovery—everything we value here at Holland House.
