Year 1 visited the Ragged School Museum to experience what life was like during the Victorian period. In the classroom, the children had to sit upright, ready for their lesson with their Victorian teacher, Miss Perkins. They were also shown the various methods used to discipline pupils who did not pay attention in class. Later, they learned about home life in Victorian times, exploring how chores were carried out and comparing them with those of today.
