Holland House School

Reception trip to Bracknell Forest

Reception were little scientists for the day as they explored the world of science through over 90 hands-on exhibits spread across five themed zones: Forces and Movement, Body and Perception, Light and Colour, Woodland and Water, and Build It. The children had the opportunity to learn through play while developing their scientific understanding and curiosity about the world around them.

The children also became little bug hunters, searching for and catching spiders, grasshoppers, crickets, ants, and flies. They enjoyed observing the insects closely, learning about their features, habitats, and behaviours through first-hand exploration.
