Cross Country event at Aldenham School

On Wednesday 7 March 2018, some of our children took part in a cross-country event at Aldenham School. Our children did so well! The running conditions were wet, muddy and slippery under foot, but we were prepared for anything.

The Boys’ A team finished an astounding 1st place and the Boys’ B team came 6th. This was out of 10 teams (80 runners in total).

The Girls’ A team came an amazing 2nd out of 6 teams (60 runners in total).

One of our Year 6 runners was besieged after the race, by boys from other schools wanting to know how he was able to run so fast!

One of our Year 3 girls was awarded a certificate for “Outstanding Achievement” for finishing 7th in the cross-country event. This is all the more outstanding given the fact that she is only in Year 3 and was competing against much older children. We are so proud of them all! The Holland House children gave the race everything they could and were determined to do well. All the children were ecstatic with the results, their achievements and medals. It was such a pleasure to see.
